Same Portions. Smaller Vessels.
This one doesn't seem like rocket science, because it's not.
But it is simple. Splitting up each part of a meal in different bowls makes a meal interesting and different for your picky eater. If each item is put into a small container it seems like less food to the eye. Which in turn, makes it a little less overwhelming to look at a big plate full of food that you're asking your less-than-enthusiastic child to eat.
I even use little soy sauce bowls meant for dipping sushi. You'd be surprised at how much fits into one of those little bowls. A perfect portion for your peanut.
Simple as that.
