Why our extra slim-fit kids jeans are the best pants for skinny boys and girls:
- Alex Cut: These have a slightly wider in the leg, a longer rise and bigger back pockets than our Lynn Cut denim. (Same fit as our discontinued distressed wash denim).
- Added Length: Our pants are built extra long. We offer two lengths: A & B — tall and extra tall.
- Ageless Sizing: Takes the guesswork out of getting the fit right the first time. Measure to Order. Reference size guide below price point.
- Adjustable Waist: Secured in place for extra durability.
- Hook & Eye Closure: For easy independent use.
- Fabric: Dark, distressed-wash denim with 2% elastane gives them just enough stretch to make them perfect for play.
MADE IN CHINA
Wash Instructions: Machine wash cold with like colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Warm iron if needed. Do not dry clean.
A: All sizes are offered in two lengths. Length B is longer than A.
Q: The length of the pants are 5 inches too long for my child? What size should I order?
A: Our pants run much longer than most brands. If our length seems too long for your child, they just might not be a good fit for our brand.
Q: Is my child slim enough for Pants for Peanuts?
A: Generally our pants are made for children with a very low BMI (Body Mass Index). Typically, they will fit a child with a BMI in the 15% and lower. Our pants are made extra slim in the leg and hip.
Q: Why can’t I order by age?
A: There are two answers to this question:
1) All children come in different shapes in sizes at different ages. Many of our customers are small for their age; this can be emotional for children (and parents) to wear a size different than their age.
2) Our pants are not like most brands. For example, we pair a size 3T with a 5T length. This would require custom tags for every size of pant; sizing by color is a more cost-effective solution. Plus, measuring helps ensure a more accurate fit.
Q: Where is the size chart located?
A: The size guide/ruler icon can be found after the price point within each style.
